When Mikel Arteta took over Arsenal at the end of 2019, one of the most prominent debates In football is which one of these three managers is the best. Today I will be briefly analysing their performances for their respective clubs. Their previous job engagements will play no factor in this. Arteta learnt from one of the greatest managers of all time, Pep Guardiola, and when Arteta first joined Arsenal, he was praised by many pundits and fans by having a similar play style to Guardiola's. Since then, his playstyle has become very different and the majority of the time it's very erratic.
Lampard in his first year came to Chelsea side that had lost their best player (Eden Hazard) and was in a transfer ban. However as bad as things felt, Chelsea had already lined up a potential suitor in Pulisic who they had signed in the January before Lampard came. In addition to this, Chelsea has a vast academy and loan system. Players like Mason Mount and Tammy Abraham were part of this and both have been exceptional from when Lampard joined Chelsea to now. Ole Gunnar Solskjar was appointed manager after an amazing term as interim manager. Straight away you could see there were cracks in the system. He lost very winnable games due to bad tactical decisions. However, over the last year, he has vastly improved the side. He bought United to the top of the table on game week 15, the last time they were that high was in 2013 when they won the league title. Only recently, he equalled the premier league record for the biggest win when he thrashed Southampton 9-0.

Without being a very clear winner, this shows how impatient Chelsea is :)
